We lost a labor-er of love.

If you asked a bunch of Broadway Producers why they got into the theater business, you’d hear a long litany of responses . . . and you know what wouldn’t be anywhere on that list?

“I got in the business to negotiate labor agreements with unions!”

No Broadway Producer I know enjoys that process.  And I’m sure the unions don’t love it either.  But it’s an essential piece of the Broadway business, in order to make sure the Broadway industry standards and practices are fair and equitable for both sides.

And that’s why Broadway Producers need excelled labor attorneys with the sunniest of dispositions willing to get their hands muddy for us . . . over and over and over again.

That was Seth Popper.

I can’t even believe I have to use the past tense in that sentence.  It sounds so cliche, but I just saw Seth walking down the street a couple of days ago, and then I got the news that this smilin’ superlawyer had passed away at the ridiculously young age of 47.

I’ve known Seth for years, from my days as a Company Manager when I’d call for an explanation of some fine print in a Local 764 contract.  Not only was his analysis always astute, but he was asking for my opinion since I was in the trenches with the employees, always looking for ways to make things better . . . for everyone.

We’ll miss you Seth.  But I’m sure you’ve negotiated the best seat at that big table upstairs.

    Hi, Ken,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Seth. I’m sure that he was an awesome gentleman.

  • This is the first I heard about Seth’s passing. I knew Seth and he was absolutely lovely. My undergrad degree was from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations and I have great respect for Seth’s views in that area. He was a wise young man. My heart goes out to his family.

  • So sorry for the loss of your friend and thank you for acknowledging those who work so hard behind the scenes but rarely get credit for what they do.

  • Incidentally, the pioneer of practicing drugs as libido enhancers was the properly known marquise P Sade. He began his ‘career’ of your sex pervert with all the addition of a few of the above pointed out ‘aphrodisiacs’ in meals, typically within a ball or any other supper party. Following this spiced with libido enhancers meal, he loved watching the orgies, triggered by means of the aftereffect of libido enhancers. Which was his system of having inspired for his writing.

  • Even though cooling towers are frequently a lasting fixture on industrial facilities or offices, temporary cooling tower rental can also be typical. Hired cooling towers are particularly valuable if permanent fittings have damaged or are going by way of maintenance. They may also be applied in case your factory or plant desires further capacity to supplement its existing cooling infrastructure.Quick Guidelines to Studying Abroad
