The Sunday Giveaway: One seat at my Somewhere in Time Workshop!

My goal of this blog is to give you an inside look at producing shows on Broadway.  The Producer’s Perspective, if you will.

So when we were coming up for ideas for this week’s giveaway, and my assistant suggested, “Ken, you’re in the middle of rehearsals for a private, industry-only workshop of a new musical – something that so few people ever get to see . . . you should give away a ticket to that,” I was like . . . duh.  Why didn’t I come up with that first?

It doesn’t matter where great ideas come from, it only matters that they get implemented.

So, that’s what we’re doing!

I’m giving away one ticket to the super-exclusive workshop presentation of Somewhere in Time on Friday, Feb 6th.  You can read all about the workshop here, but know that it is based on this fantastical movie by Richard Matheson, and the musical stars Laura Osnes, Marc Kudisch and Ryan Silverman.  And the workshop is another step for the show on its way to a Broadway stage.

How do you win?

Simple, sign up for the Somewhere in Time mailing list at the bottom on the website.  We’ll pick a winner from all the signups we get from today through Saturday at 10:59 AM and then we’ll announce the winner.

So sign up to win today!

I look forward to seeing one of you there!

Love “Somewhere in Time!” It was my favorite book when I was in high school!

  • You wrote, “It doesn’t matter where great ideas come from, it only matters that they get implemented.”
Well, I agree in part. Great ideas need to be implemented. But I politely disagree with the fist half. I think those with the great ideas need to be recognized individually and made to feel appreciated. Great ideas beget even more great ideas.

Loved the movie. So glad you’re producing the musical. Hope to see it.

  • David says:

I loved playing Arthur in the BMI Librettist Workshop scenes. All the best to you!

  • Laurie says:

This is a dream-come-true and I cannot wait for it to open on Broadway! The story, the music, the costumes, the actors…love everything about this. My theater major daughter informed me this was happening because she knows this is my all-time favorite movie and Laura Osnes is her all-time favorite actor. Break a Leg!!!!!!!!!!!
