The Sunday Giveaway: Two Tickets to The Avengers Experience in Times Square

Calling all comic lovers!  This is the giveaway for you.

If you’re an Avengers fan, then you have to drop on down to Discovery Times Square Museum for the latest exhibit, Marvel’s AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N., which is “a completely immersive experience that brings visitors into the world of The Avengers.”

Sounds cool, right?

You’ll be able to see things like Captain America’s Birth Pod, the Tesseract Portal Device, Loki’s Scepter, a hermetically sealed Chitauri and more, recovered after the Battle of New York.

And one of you will be able to check this all out for free.  Oh, and they’re going to throw in a free green-screen photo opp too!

So how do you win?   You use your superpowers of course.

Wait, what?  You don’t have superpowers?

Well, if you did, what would you want your superpower to be?  Invisibility?  See through walls?  Belt to a high C?

Comment below with your dream superpower and one of you will get to live out your superhero fantasy at The AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N experience!

Good luck!

  • Allison DeLuca says:

Can the ability to play all instruments be a superpower? Because that would be extremely helpful!

  • I would have to go with Teleportation. I work all over the greater metropolitan area. More than that actually as I routinely work between Poughkeepsie and Toms River. Some times I want to get back for a show or to see Seth Rudetsky interview someone and traffic just doesn’t allow it. yeah teleporting would be awesome.

  • Sarah P. says:

Hmmm, I’m gonna say invisibility, because not only would it come in handy in infinite circumstances, it would also mean I could presumably sneak into Bway shows *and* be a fly on the wall during exciting rehearsals, auditions and behind the scenes meetings! 😉

  • Liz Woolf says:

I agree with teleportation! Imagine being able to pop over to London or New York to see a show, then be back in California for work the next morning!

  • Nathan Clift says:

It wouldn’t be to teleport or to fly. It’d be to shape shift.

Honestly, you can then play ANY role in a Broadway show. You can literally do it. Short male and wanna play Sally Bowles in CABARET? BAM. Consider it done. Tall female that wants to play Barnaby Tucker in HELLO, DOLLY at your local theater company? BAM. Need Abs to play Spike? Don’t even question it!

    Endless possibilities at your disposal!

  • Aaron Deitsch says:

I always wanted to be able to fly

  • Ashlyn Smith says:

I have to agree with the teleportation, though I was thinking smaller distances (like just from home to work).

Either that, or freezing time would be pretty useful…

  • Claire says:

I’d love to be able to fly.

  • Stephanie C. says:

Normally, I comment that being able to fly would be awedome, and hearing the teleportation idea excites me because I would be able to see more shows without having to skip out on work early.

However, I could totally go for Wonder Woman’s truth lasso skills (I know, I know…she’s DC Comics). I work with middle school students and it would save so much time 😉

  • Lana says:

I would love to be able to read people’s minds.

  • R.J. Lowe says:

My choice of superpower would be to be able to mimic ANYONE absolutely perfectly. And I would only use my powers for good – entertaining others. Think Christine Pedi or Christina Bianco but on a MUCH wider scale!!!

  • abe says:

I would want the ability to travel through time and space. Robb has already noted the advantages of teleportation, but this would give me the additional ability to travel back in time to see shows I’ve missed and effectively be in two places at once.

  • Max Gilman says:

I would like the superpower to get my daughter, who will be going off to College next year, the ability to get into USC so she can become the Fantasy and Science Fiction Screenwriter she dreams of becoming. (Oh and I would give her and her best friends the tickets to see the Avengers in Times Square).

  • Ging Suhu says:

What’s that saying– great minds think alike? Looks like others ahead of me had the same ideas ie. flying and reading minds. I have to go with the latter. If I could read the mind of the Chairman of the Federal Reserve or the analysts for the Federal government that tallies the financial/business stats ie
number of jobs created, price of commodities, gross domestic product, I could buy/sell shares accordingly and clean up!

  • Jessie says:

Teleportation for sure! I would love to never have to worry about transportation again!

  • Geri W says:

Travel through space to be able to see a Broadway show in New York after working that day another state.

  • My partner is a Marvel comics aficionado since 1961! As corny as this may sound, my superpower would be to wave my magic hand and create peace on earth for every living being (plants and animals included). If only…

  • Jeremy Terry says:

I’ve always wanted to have telepathy – moving stuff with your mind! What could be more efficient.

  • Tony p says:

Not being a copycat, but my immediate reaction was teleportation. Just getting from place to place during the busy times would be fun. But truth be told, I could be in every Broadway ticket lottery at once!

  • Jacob Persily says:

The super-human ability to win the Book of Mormon lottery every time I try

  • Jared Goerke says:

The ability to be invisible so I can go to every show on broadway and and be an actual Phantom watching the shows from the boxes.

  • Candace says:

I would want the power to read minds! What fun!

  • Allison M says:

My superpower would be the ability to stop time so I can get all my errands done and see all the latest shows before they close!

  • Karl P says:

I would want to sing like Colm Wilkinson!

  • I would like to time travel so I could meet all the actors and actresses of the past. And I’d make sure that I could go to any time and any location. Maybe land an extra roll on a set with Bogart or Fred Astaire…
    That would be such fun!

  • Rebecca Bruckenstein says:

I would like the ability to bring whatever I imagine to life.

  • Linda says:

I’ve always wanted the ability to time travel. That way I could go back in time and see concerts and shows that happened before I was born.

  • Amber says:

My ability would be to know the future. No, this ability is not for monetary gain investments, but rather I always want to be prepared and this would give me peace of mind.
A side note, I’ve been super busy lately and feeling like I’ve been neglecting my husband so I told him yesterday we could go do anything he wanted- and he chose the Avengers Museum!! It was a blast, my favorite part was making IronMan do Rockette kicks (you’ll see!) So don’t choose me, Ken. We just went, but I wanted people to know how much fun it is! I suggest IronMan YMCA dance moves haha! Have fun!

  • Kevin Johnson says:

Probability and reality manipulation! For sure!

  • If I had a superpower, it would be to secretly produce money with the snap of my fingers. I would then use this to help feed certain parts of the world, aid those in need, maybe even help produce a Broadway show! LOL. Either way, we both know money can make things happen, so long as I use that money for good, and I wouldn’t be able to produce money for myself. Only others. It would be like a curse, but a blessing in disguise. Because “with power comes great responsibility….” 🙂

  • Zanne says:

Invisibility. Oh, wait … I work in an all-male environment. I already AM invisible!

  • Matty says:

It would be lovely to be able to remember everything I read perfectly. As a manager it would be so helpful to remember all the detailed union rules and final contract information off the top of my head!

  • Yosi Merves says:

My super-power would be the ability to freeze time. Just push “Pause” on life. Just not enough hours in the day to get everything done. Plus you can play great practical jokes on people when they are frozen and unable to move.

  • Anais Blin says:

I’ve always wanted the ability to change size, like to be able to grow and shrink at will. I’m a short person, and it would be useful to grow up to 10 feet tall and just tower everyone at a concert (and be able to see too).

  • Dawn says:

Definitely telekinesis. Who wants to keep getting up to pick up the remote or turn off the lights?

  • Michael M says:

The work ethic of Harvey Fierstein.
