The Sunday Giveaway: Two tickets to Hand to God on Broadway!

Here’s an interesting bit of trivia:  Avenue Q and Book of Mormon were two of the “dirtiest” shows Broadway had ever seen when they opened up on the Great White Way.

Both won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

What does that tell ya?

Well, it tells you that Hand to God is a show to watch this season.  Cuz it’s a dirty mother @#$^%#$.

One of you will be watching that show for free, cuz we’ve got two tickets to give away!  Woo-hoo!

If you haven’t heard about the foul-mouthed puppet that stars in Hand to God then, well, as that puppet might say, you’ve had your head up your a$$.  H2G had two productions Off Broadway, and grabbed a set of reviews that could @#$% a @#&$%#, if you know what I mean.

You can read ’em here.

So how can you win the tickets to see this new American play, that as the advertising trumpets, isn’t a movie adaptation and didn’t come from London and doesn’t have Hugh Jackman or a reality TV star playing the lead?

Simple.

There is no question that the “shock and awe” strategy in shows, when done with craft and care, can be very successful.  What’s the most shocking thing you’ve seen on a stage?   And did you talk about the show more because you were so shocked?  Did it help in the word-of-mouth marketing?

Comment below your shocking thoughts and you could win two tickets to see this @#$%$ing play.

Good luck!
