The Sunday Giveaway: Two tickets to the 50th Anniversary Sound of Music Sing-a-long at the Hollywood Bowl!

Be glad you’re not hanging out in my apartment when I’m in the shower.

I’ll belt out everything from Rent, sometimes a little Wicked, and oh, for sure some Les Miz.  These guys got nothing on me.

Hey – at least I do it in the shower, right?  Cuz we’ve all been to a show and sat next to someone who can’t help but quietly sing along.  Before I punch them in the face, I try to remember that they’re doing it because they love it so much.

Well, on June 26th all shower singers and under-their-breath singers are invited to sing out Louise at the Hollywood Bowl’s Sound of Music sing-a-long, celebrating the 50th (!) anniversary of the classic R&H tuner.

Oh, I’ve got two tickets to sing-a-long for free, if you’re going to be in La-La land at the end of June.

Ready to win?

This sing-a-long is with the movie, of course.  But what if there were an actual live production that we let people sing-a-long to?  I considered doing this on Godspell . . . since so many people know those songs.

If there was a live performance sing-a-long of a show, what show would you want that to be?  (I’ve always wanted to do Grease 2 myself – can you imagine everyone singing along to “Reproduction!” and “We’re gonna boooooooooowl tonight!”)

Tell me what show yo’d want to sing-a-long to and you could be singing “Do! Re! Mi!” at the Hollywood Bowl for free!
