How to write a script in 30 days . . . or less.

We started a Davenport Theatrical book club this past fall, and the second book that we devoured was Originals:  How Non-Conformists Rule The World.  The book has a ton of great takeaways for anyone in any business, but especially for those of us in a creative industry like the arts.

But the one takeaway I’m going to bring up in our club discussion this Friday has to do with something that all of the greatest creators, from Beethoven to Edison, had in common.

They didn’t just create stuff.  They created a crap ton of stuff.

And it was just a few of the great number of things they created that were incredibly successful and are why we talk about those creators today.

Edison had over a thousand patents.  Beethoven wrote hundreds of compositions.

But they are known for a handful.

Genius creators tend to be extremely prolific.  They churn out project after project, learning from each one, and giving themselves a greater opportunity to find something that resonates with their audience’s interest.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery, the more times you play, right?

And the funny thing is, you never know what thing you make that consumers are going to go nuts for.

It makes sense, right?

That’s why I’m a big believer that producers should produce more, directors should director more, and, of course, writers should write more.

And the funny thing is, too many writers who I know just can’t finish a script.  Most are perfectionists (and I get it), and they can’t get to that ‘THE END” on the final page because they just don’t think it’s “done.”  (It’s never done, by the way.)

That’s why the next webinar I’m teaching is a guaranteed method to finish a script in 30 days.  In only one month, you can go from a blank page to a completed script, ready to be read out loud.  Just imagine . . . a full script in your hands (or a Producer’s hands) by the end of this month if you start today.

Cool, right?  And it works.  I’ve done it.

Click here to sign up for the webinar and learn:

  • How to come up with an idea that you wantto write.
  • How to get yourself to write when you don’t want to.
  • The best tricks and tips to crush writer’s block.
  • Rewriting . . . when to do it, and when not to do it.
  • What I do to guarantee you hit your deadline.

And don’t think this webinar will be filled with only inspirational, go get ’em types of advice.   You’re going to get super practical tips on how to finish that script you’re working on, or coming up with a new idea and making it happen.

This webinar will take place next Wed, February 8th at 7 PM ET.  Booked at that time?  Don’t worry, you can register anyway and we’ll email you the files so you can get the full experience any time you want.

The webinar is $149 and is guaranteed.  Click here to sign up.
