Broadway Grosses w/e 11/18/2018: Early Snow Brings Flurries to Broadway

Box Office Grosses slipped slightly to $36.5M this week. Some softening might be due to the surprise winter weather last Friday which had most of Manhattan and surrounding areas in grid-lock from 4pm on.

Very strong previews continue for Network, To Kill A Mocking Bird, and The Cher Show, with each show grossing near or above $1M.

Grosses for the season continue to outpace last year’s record numbers, but as we’ve seen in the past, attendance isn’t quite as accelerated. It means that audiences are continuing to pay higher and higher prices for shows. No doubt, this trend will set the stage for another banner holiday season on Broadway.
