1 – Watch Anthony Ramos, Lin-Manuel Miranda, More in New Trailer for In The Heights Movie

The event of the summer has arrived! The newest trailer debuted during the Oscars ceremony on April 25. The trailer includes more of the storyline and plot including Anthony Ramos, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more! Did you know Lin is coming out with a new book, In The Heights, Finding Home? 2 – Small Business Administration Receives 1700+ SVOG Applications on First Day

“As of noon ET (April 26th), the SVOG portal had received 17,356 applications and, of those, 9,472 had been started and 7,884 had been submitted,” a rep told Variety. Venues can still apply for relief.

3 – Disney Tackling ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’ Movie Musical (Exclusive)

The show hit Broadway in 2005 and earned six Tony nominations, winning two. Now, it is coming to the big screen with the help of Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich

4 – Governor Cuomo Announces Capacity Increases for Offices, Gyms, Casinos and More

Gov. Cuomo announced beginning May 19, outdoor events can increase their capacity from 25% to 33%.

5 – De Blasio plans to ‘fully reopen’ NYC in July, but signals September for Broadway

Mayor De Blasio has officially announced the city will be ready to fully reopen July 1. Due to the rapid pace of vaccinations happening around the city, they will be planning for 100% reopening rates for all stores, gyms and arenas. Broadway is still delayed and planning to reopen in September. “But I’d love to see some of the smaller shows up in July and August”, de Blasio said.
