This is why we encourage TheaterMakers to meet other TheaterMakers and get them signed up on their show, or simply just meet for coffee and brainstorm!

DESCRIPTION: Tony Award winning HARTFORD STAGE is seeking a full time SUBSCRIPTIONS MANAGER. Areas of responsibility include managing the needs of our extensive and loyal subscriber base, accurately and efficiently processing subscription orders, leading the box office team through the subscription renewal campaign process, regularly reporting on subscription sales, and working with the Marketing Department and Call Center to ensure consistent communication of our subscription offerings. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Theatre and/or Marketing, with experience in regional theatre patron services preferred. Additional qualifications include 1-2 years of box office experience; excellent telephone manner; basic computer skills (including Microsoft Excel); strong interpersonal skills; able to work in a high pressure environment; friendly, patient, and reliable self starter, with a sense of humor; organized, with an exceptional attention to detail. Knowledge of The Patron Edge, or other ticketing system, is preferred.Weekend/Evening shifts required, as needed. Position available immediately.

POSITION: Marketing & Communications Manager

DESCRIPTION: NYC nonprofit, The New 42nd Street, seeks Marketing & Communications Manager for the New 42 and The New Victory Theater. As part of a five-person team, the Marketing & Communications Manager implements membership and single-ticket marketing plans; creates and tracks campaigns and budgets; coordinates media placement; serves as daily contact for marketing partners and vendors; analyzes and reports on sales trends and historical data; develops sponsorships and promotional packages; writes/edits sales copy; and represents The New Victory Theater at public events.

Candidates for the position should have BA/BS degree; minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing; excellent writing, communication, organizational and managerial skills essential; must be able to multitask under pressure in an exciting, fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of Tessitura software required.

The New 42nd Street oversees the revitalization of seven historic theaters on West 42nd Street in New York City, and owns and operates The New Victory Theater (New York’s first theater for kids and families), The Duke on 42nd Street, and the New 42nd Street Studios (rehearsal studios for dance & theater).

Marketing Associate- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey

SEEKING: Marketing Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison seeks an energetic and creative marketing associate with graphic design experience (CS5 and up with emphasis on InDesign and Photoshop) for a fast-paced department responsible for marketing, promotion, press, and community/public relations for a 7-show season in two venues.

REQUIREMENTS: Prior marketing experience in a not-for-profit arts organization a plus. Good graphic design, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills, and knowledge of social media, web-based marketing, and advertising/promotion required.
