SEEKS:Stage Managers in the Entertainment department

WHAT: The Stage Management department fuses the fundamentals of company management with theatrical stage management practices operating a diverse mix of entertainment product that engages a broad demographic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise the daily operation of assigned venue(s) and product
• Maintain artistic and technical integrity of production
• Lead, coach, and develop cast and crew
• Manage employee hours tracking and schedules
• Foster a safe, positive, and professional work environment
• Oversee the organized and efficient operation of all venue areas, including stage, wings, dressing rooms, and storage
• Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive production book, blocking, and staging information
• Encourage open communication between Entertainment Operations, Production, and Theatrical Services
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with other park departments

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BFA in Theatre, Performing Arts, or equivalent Stage Management, Company Management, or Arts Administration experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Project management experience
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• At least 2 years experience in a supervisory/management role
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Valid drivers license

SEEKS: an energetic individual for a full time spring general management internship.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
• Outstanding phone skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be detail oriented (a must!)
• An interest in and understanding of the theater industry

Marketing Internship – Theaterworks USA

WHO:TheatreworksUSA, the pre-eminent, children and family theater company that serves audience of four million annually, nation-wide.

SEEKING: Marketing Intern, Intern needs to be available about 20 hours a week during office hours Monday to Friday 9 to 5.

WHEN: Internship starts ASAP, no later then February 1st with a commitment through end of May.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO: Perform contract entry, assemble press and publicity packets, maintain ongoing relations with customers nationwide, assist in preparation for regional and national conferences, provide general support for Marketing reps and database maintenance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: He/She should have an interest in theater or arts administration, good phone manner, experience working on a PC, knowledge of MS Word and Excel helpful, as is experience working in theater.
