 SEEKING:

EMCEES – Announces all award ceremonies on stage, interviews dancers
on stage, gives breaks to fellow staff members.

STAGE MANAGERS: Must have extensive backstage background, love working
with children, prize organization, timeliness, and consistency.

 DJ/SOUND ENGINEER: Must have
DJing background & extensive mental library of songs who can musically excite
people, effortlessly keep everything running smoothly & on-time
effortlessly. Must be great at handling distractions.

 VIDEO CAMERA OPERATORS: Who
value consistency in every camera shot.

 VIDEO CONSOLE MANAGERS: That
are always focused on creating great video visuals 24/7.

 AWARDS MANAGERS: That are
extremely organized, think fast on their feet & love working with children.

 JUDGES MANAGERS (AUDITORS): Who
relentlessly desire accuracy, attention to detail, speed & efficiency.

 RETAIL MANAGERS-who love
selling, love people, consistently value tidiness, great displays, accuracy,
precise inventory control, systemized organization.

 WHEN: The regional touring
season runs 15 weekends, not including Easter:

-Training Part 1: January 18-22, 2010

-Tour 1: runs from February 2-May 23, 2010

-Tour 2: runs from February 9-May 23, 2010

-Tour 3: runs from February 23-May 23, 2010

WHO: Forestburgh Playhouse, an Equity summer theatre 90 miles from NYC.

SEEKS:Design and Technical Staff: Technical Director, Set Designer/Painter, Costume Designer, Lighting Designer, Master Electrician, Asst CD/Wardrobe Supervisor, Properties Master, Sound Designer/Engineer, and Carpenters and technical interns. Positions contracted for full summer season.

SEEKS:Stage Managers in the Entertainment department

WHAT: The Stage Management department fuses the fundamentals of company management with theatrical stage management practices operating a diverse mix of entertainment product that engages a broad demographic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise the daily operation of assigned venue(s) and product
• Maintain artistic and technical integrity of production
• Lead, coach, and develop cast and crew
• Manage employee hours tracking and schedules
• Foster a safe, positive, and professional work environment
• Oversee the organized and efficient operation of all venue areas, including stage, wings, dressing rooms, and storage
• Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive production book, blocking, and staging information
• Encourage open communication between Entertainment Operations, Production, and Theatrical Services
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with other park departments

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BFA in Theatre, Performing Arts, or equivalent Stage Management, Company Management, or Arts Administration experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Project management experience
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• At least 2 years experience in a supervisory/management role
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Valid drivers license
