The Sunday Giveaway: One FringeNYC VIP Pass, worth $1,000!

How about this for a giveaway?

Thanks to our friends at the New York International Fringe Festival, “the largest multi-arts in festival in the world,” (whose producing director has also promised me a podcast interview when this year is all said and done), we’re giving away two tickets to any and ALL their shows.

That’s hundreds and hundreds of shows you can get access to for free.  If you wanted to buy tickets to each, it’d be more expensive than a full price ticket to Hamilton.

And all you have to do to enter is click here.

And who knows . . . maybe you’ll see the next Urinetown, Silence! The Musical, Dixie’s Tupperware Party, or Dog Sees God before they become the next Urinetown, Silence! The Musical, Dixie’s Tupperware Party, or Dog Sees God.

And even more important than the shows themselves are the artists.  Someone asked me recently if I had an idea of who the next Lin Manuel Miranda or Bart Sher was.  I said, I didn’t.  And no one probably knows their name yet.

But 10 to 1, they’re working in the Fringe.

Enter to win your $1,000 All Access Fringe Pass here!

The Sunday Giveaway: Two tickets to STOMP Off Broadway!

Get this . . . Stomp has been running in NYC for 22 (!) years now.  I had just graduated from college when it began bashing trash can covers together, and making sweet sounds by sweeping.  There are probably cast members of the current production who weren’t even born yet when this phenomenon started performing at the Orpheum Theatre in the East Village.

And during the past two decades, we’ve seen so many other shows claiming to be “the next Stomp” open . . . and close.

Yet Stomp keeps on stomping.

And it’s been all over the world . . . several times.

I happen to know an investor (lucky woman, she) and she once said to me, “My hand actually hurts from having to endorse all these profit checks!”

We’re not giving away profit, but we are giving away two free tickets to see the show that has defied the odds and become one of the longest running (and I’m sure highest grossing – if Off Broadway published their grosses) Off Broadway shows of all time.

To enter to win, all you gotta do is click here and follow the instructions.

And make sure you check out how you can enter multiple times.

The Sunday Giveaway: Two free tickets to A Chorus Line with the LA Philharmonic!

As if West Side Story wasn’t enough.

The Hollywood Bowl is at it again.  This time, they’re presenting A Chorus Line . . . backed by the LA freakin’ Philharmonic.  And this ain’t no concert version.  This is their annual “fully staged production.”

Cast?

I’m glad you asked.

How about Mario Lopez as Zach.  Spring Awakening‘s Krysta Rodriguez as Morales, Spring Awakening’s choreographer Spencer Liff as Larry, as well as Courtney Lopez, Jason Tam, J. Elaine Marcos (one of the funniest people on the planet), Mara Davi, and Robert Fairchild.  I mean come on, people.  These kinds of people don’t get together and kick up their character shoes every day.

In fact, there will only be three days of performances:  Friday 7/29, Saturday 7/30 and Sunday 7/31.  (Get all the details here.)

But one of you will be going to this one, singular sensation, for free!

Click here to enter to win two tickets to see ACL (no, not the thing in your knee) at the Hollywood Bowl.

And God I Hope You Get It!
