I love every episode of this podcast, but this is my hands-down favorite so far. Not only does John have great insights and ideas, but an episode finally addresses my Genie-from-Aladdin wish as both a theatre goer and company manager – ushers empowered and motivated to act on inappropriate behavior so that the rest of the audience and members of the company can enjoy the show! An audience member has one bad experience of paying well over one hundred dollars for a performance and coming away feeling like s/he’s spent an evening in someone else’s unruly house in front of a TV will think twice before spending that kind of money again. John Raymond Barker is my new super hero of the theatre!
